Sion Power is advancing lithium-metal battery development through materials innovation, proprietary anode design and scalable system-level engineering. Our Licerion® platform is built to meet demanding defense and automotive standards while solving the historic challenges of dendrite formation, weight, and charge time. Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, our mission is to produce a state-of-the-art battery that enables drones, electric vehicles and other mobility applications to reach longer ranges and higher performance, while targeting less material use, lower weight and improved cost savings. Today, Sion Power operates from a 115,000-square-foot R&D and production facility with a team of 90+ employees, including dozens of Ph.D. scientists. We have secured more than 430 international patents and applications. On our campus, you’ll find a dry room for cell manufacturing, a 5,300-square-foot safety and abuse testing lab with over 2,000 test channels, and state-of-the-art laboratories for analytical, materials, and electronics research.
