We develop operational intelligence to support wildfire resilience in fire-affected territories. umgrauemeio is a Brazilian organization that develops integrated approaches to prevent, detect, respond to, and assess the impacts of wildfires. The Pantera platform integrates artificial intelligence, satellite data, camera-based monitoring, geospatial analysis, and predictive modeling to support coordinated wildfire management. Pantera supports the full wildfire management cycle, from risk forecasting and early detection to fire spread modeling, coordinated field response, and impact assessment. This approach enables organizations to anticipate threats, inform decision-making, and reduce environmental and economic losses. Currently, the system supports monitoring across more than 39 million hectares, with over 190 cameras deployed. Documented outcomes in specific operations include reductions of up to 90 percent in burned area and 80 percent in brigade dispatch time. The approach is applied across forestry, agribusiness, energy, conservation, and carbon projects, in collaboration with companies, governments, research institutions, and local communities in Brazil and internationally. The Abrace a Floresta initiative advances a collaborative model of territorial resilience by connecting public, private, philanthropic, and community actors. It integrates resources, technology, and local knowledge to strengthen the capacity of those working to protect ecosystems, biodiversity, and livelihoods from severe wildfire events. This approach is based on the principle that technology alone cannot protect territories.
