(CNHTC) was founded in 1956, is the cradle of China’s heavy-duty truck. With annual capacity of producing more than 3,00,000 units, CNHTC is the largest heavy duty commercial vehicle manufacturer of China. SINOTRUK’s headquarter is located in Jinan Shandong province, and in more than 10 provinces of China it has four heavy truck manufacturing subsidiaries, three light truck manufacturing subsidiaries, six special purpose vehicle manufacturing subsidiaries, one bus manufacturing subsidiary, two engine manufacturing subsidiaries, two transmission manufacturing subsidiaries and one axle manufacturing subsidiary. SINOTRUK's have International presence in more than 100 countries with more than 20 manufacturing plants in more than 13 countries. SINOTRUK is the leading heavy duty truck exporter from China from past 2 decades, contributing to more than 50% of China's heavy duty truck export. Since its establishment, SINOTRUK always insists the development strategy of combining independent innovation with foreign cooperation. It cooperated with world well-known truck companies: Steyr, Volvo and MAN to introduce core technologies of complete vehicles and engine, transmission, axle and etc., and attracted more than 10 world-famous parts suppliers to build factories in Jinan to serve SINOTRUK. In 2009, Sinotruk formed it's strategic partnership with German MAN group, by which MAN holds 25%+1 stake in Sinotruk International. Sinotruk is producing domestic advanced diesel and gas engines, the internationally advanced MAN Engine series, complying with emission norms from Euro 2 to Euro 6, engine horsepower ranging from 140 to 540ps. Now SinoTruk have started office in India considering long term goal to cater vast Indian Commercial Vehicles Market as well as to prepare India operations to turn into future export base.
