Fabric.com is the world's leading online fabric store. Founded in 1993 as Phoenix Textiles Group, Inc. the company began as a wholesale distributor of apparel fabrics. Bridging into e-commerce in 1999, we began selling cut-yardage fabrics directly to customers and became known as Fabric.com. In 2008, the company became a subsidiary of Amazon.

In 1976 our owners, John and Annette Douthat, began in the Stretch & Sew fabric business. Over time, they added sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, and appliances. In 1996, one of their sons asked “Why aren't you on the Internet. Their response was What is the Internet? They learned fast and now AllBrands.com is a leading Internet retailer of all brands of sewing machines, vacuums and appliances. AllBrands.com continues to experience rapid growth.
