Sinaya Cup is the first local brand of menstrual cups in the Philippines dedicated to empowering menstruating Filipinos through menstrual management products and reproductive health and hygiene education. For the past few years, we are taking part in improving health literacy in the Philippines beating social construction, stigma, and myths about our body. A Sinaya Cup is made from medical grade silicone, our menstrual cups are designed to capture menstrual fluid. A menstrual cup is inserted into the body (similar to tampons) through folding and adjusting techniques. It can stay inside the body for up to 12 hours and can be reused from two to five years. For every purchase of a Sinaya Cup, proceeds are dedicated to The #CUPacityCaravan or Buy-One-Teach-One program for senior high school students in Metro Manila. #SinayaTribe is our facebook group community dedicated as a safe space for Sinaya Cup users to celebrate, learn, and trouble shoot menstrual cup use but also a place to discuss health related questions that they couldn't ask elsewhere.
