Houston Grand Opera (HGO) is one of the largest, most innovative, and most highly acclaimed opera companies in the United States. General Director and CEO Khori Dastoor assumed leadership of the organization and responsibility for its strategic vision in 2021. HGO was the only American finalist for Opera Company of the Year in the 2025 International Opera Awards, and the only American company to be nominated for the award three times. Founded in 1976, Boston Lyric Opera is New England’ s largest opera company. Led by Acting General & Artistic Director Bradley Vernatter, BLO is celebrated for its artistic excellence and diverse repertoire. BLO’ s programs are funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Founded in 1963, Seattle Opera is a leading American opera company. The company presents the classics of the European repertoire as well as new works of American opera. Seattle Opera performs five operas per year.
