Simutech is a company focused on addressing two significant discontinuities in the electronics industry: the impact of the Internet on the IP and IC supply chain, and the rapid evolution to 'IP-based' Systems-on-a Chip (SoC) design. Simutech's products are used by component suppliers to dramatically increase the effectiveness of promotion dollars and dramatically reduce the cost of technical sales, and by design engineers to dramatically reduce the time required to evaluate components and verify that they work together in a complex system. Simutech's first product line, the eValab Services, is a web based solution that enables engineers to perform geographically remote intellectual property (IP) or IC evaluation of real silicon. eValab Services attacks a major barrier to IP and IC e-commerce by providing a means for end-users to perform quality, functional, and system performance evaluations from their desktops. The service accomodates multiple types of IP (hard/soft), IC's, and embedded software, as well as full system or SoC platforms across a spectrum of applications. Component suppliers and internal reuse groups need a secure way to "publish" real silicon models in multiple configurations to the world, a robust way to illustrate the power and distinctive feature sets of their solutions, and a more efficient way to support technical sales. Simutech eValab Services meets these needs with evaluation scenarios that meet a broad range of market needs. Simutech's second product, the RAVE 128 Family is the world's first 'IP' and Internet based verification system.
