simus systems develops software for technical data in machinery and plant engineering. Since 2002, companies have used our software to structure master data and CAD data, automate costing and plan manufacturing processes. With the simus classmate software suite, designers retrieve existing components via their geometric fingerprint, cost calculations are generated directly from the 3D model, similar parts and bundling potential become visible in technical purchasing, and routings are created automatically. For projects such as ERP migrations or site consolidations, we prepare master data so that the transition succeeds. More than 250 customers in machinery, special-purpose machinery and plant engineering, tool making, automotive and electronics work with our solutions. Across more than 400 projects, we have learned that clean technical data is the prerequisite for everything else: for automation, for sound decisions and for using AI to real effect. We run our own ERP, PDM and CAD environments and test our recommendations in them, which keeps our estimates of costs and outcomes realistic. Every project is led by an experienced project manager from the outset, and the same contact person remains available after go-live.
