Simsea Real Operations is a maritime competence and simulator center located in Haugesund, Norway. Our core business is courses and competence development, but we also offer specialized services and consultancy for the maritime sector. Additionally, we engage in research and development and tailor courses to meet our clients' needs. Through competence development, training, and innovation, we work to enhance safety, efficiency, and operational quality in the industry. We have advanced simulators that provide realistic training in complex maritime operations. This enables practice in demanding scenarios within a safe environment, where operational skills can be improved, including both technical and non-technical aspects. Our simulators cover everything from navigation and offshore operations to engine room resource management and high-voltage systems, featuring state-of-the-art bridge, engine control room, and high-voltage simulators that provide hands-on training. Simsea is officially approved as a maritime training institution by the Norwegian Maritime Authority. We are also an authorized course provider and test center, approved by DNV, The Nautical Institute, and the Norwegian Coastal Administration. Our employees have extensive operational experience, and our instructors include current and former pilots, captains, chief officers, and chief engineers, as well as a specialist in human factors and a high-voltage electrician with expertise in maritime power systems. We offer a broad range of courses and services and can tailor training to meet our clients' needs.
