Simpleworks is an innovative, wireless networking camera startup based in the US. The idea for our company came about when a beloved, aging relative needed to be "looked after". The available solutions on the market were intrusive, expensive, and complex to operate and manage; and most did not meet the performance objectives of range in doors. Then we started working with 802.15.4, and found that this low-power wireless networking protocol has some real talents that could be leveraged for a wireless camera network. It would be expandable easily with additional sensors to 64,000 nodes.
