For 25 years, Simple Session has been at the forefront of action sports, showcasing the world’s top skateboard and BMX athletes – now Olympic sports – on a global stage. Founded in 2000 by brothers Risto and Mario Kalmre, Simple Session grew from a small-town competition into one of the most prestigious and international events in BMX and skateboarding, attracting athletes from 30+ countries each year. Around 180 pro riders and skaters compete annually, making it a benchmark for professional competitions worldwide. We’ve produced more than 30 major festivals in Tallinn, Riga, and Helsinki, as well as international snowboard events, and helped develop skateparks and action sports centers across Estonia and beyond. Simple Session has collaborated with top global brands and been featured by ESPN, Eurosport, MTV, NBC, Fuel TV, Insight TV, Red Bull TV, and more – a testament to our reputation as a leading voice in action sports.
