Angus Australia represents the Angus cattle breed across Australia and New Zealand, with more than 4,000 dedicated producers across both seedstock and commercial sectors. As a member-based organisation, our purpose is singular: to enhance the profitability and long-term success of our members. Angus is the industry’s most balanced beef breed, consistently delivering superior eating quality, reliable price premiums and profitability advantages throughout the supply chain. Through sustained, cumulative genetic improvement year after year, Angus drives production efficiency, carcase performance and market value at every level from breeder to consumer. We are the largest cattle breed society in Australia, representing over 4,000 members. The association is the voice of the Wagyu breed in Australia representing the membership. It has responsibility for the registration and DNA verification of the breed. Genetic tools are developed for improvement of the breed, the reputuation of the Wagyu brand is protected, and science is promoted and evaluated with respect to the Wagyu industry.

The mission of the American Shorthorn Association is to serve all members and enhance the value of the Shorthorn breed by managing data, maintaining the integrity of the herdbook, educating members and communicating the value of Shorthorn cattle resulting in the expanded use of Shorthorn genetics in the U.S. beef industry. We are based in Kansas City, Missouri.
