Buying and renting properties around the bay area. I have 24 units in and around the bay area, mostly in Oakland and Berkeley. We buy foreclosures, remodel them and rent them out. I have also bought multi-family, commercial, land, tax sales, and probate sales. I have bought REO's which is primarily what is being sold as foreclosures now, they are not actually foreclosures, they are REO(real estate owned) The foreclosure period is a small period between the point where the foreclosed owner's place is sold to a buyer at the courthouse steps, at that moment it is a foreclosure, if there is no buyer in that moment then it is no longer a foreclosure and transfers back to the bank and it is now an REO. So all these sales saying they are foreclosures are actually REO's. Bank owned.
