Heartbeat Dance Center proudly offers a wide variety of fun and educational dance programs for all ages. Our goal is to challenge all students and accelerate their progress. Students are placed in classes based upon age, ability and experience; and any previous training is taken into consideration. Our wide selection of classes will offer all students, from beginner through advanced, a positive learning experience. Our Fall Schedule includes a full array of nine-month classes including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Modern, Ballet Technique, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop and Musical Theater. Divisions and course offerings are as follows: TINY TOTS: Our Tiny Tots Program is designed to introduce dance and movement to our youngest dancers (ages 2 1/2 - 3). Children will sing, dance and move to the music in a fun and creative way. This is a great introduction to the wonderful world of dance. Students should wear a leotard, tights, and ballet shoes. KINDERDANCE: A program designed to help children develop a fondness for dance. Pre-school students ages 3-4 study Ballet & Tap and perform one dance in our recital. Children must be 3 years old by October 1st. We also offer Kinderdance classes specifically designed for 4 year olds. KINDERGARTEN CLASSES: A fun and educational course specifically designed for children in Kindergarten. We offer one hour combination classes in Ballet & Tap, Acro & Jazz, or Tap & Jazz. We also offer classes in Lyrical and Hip Hop for this age group. MINI: 1st & 2nd graders may choose one hour classes in Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz or Hip Hop. We also offer a Jazz/Acrobatics Combo. PRIMARY LEVEL: 3rd, 4th & 5th graders will enjoy choosing one hour classes in each of their favorite subjects. Students may choose from Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Musical Theater and Hip-Hop. JUNIOR LEVEL: 6th, 7th & 8th graders may select one hour classes in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Musical Theater, Tap, Jazz, or Hip-Hop. SENIOR LEVEL: 9th through 12th ...

Elite Dance Academy was founded by Jan Stefanowski in 1978. In 1996, after 18 years at the Second Street Pike location, the studio moved to it's current 3000 square foot location on Almshouse Road. Over 500 families currently have one or more children enrolled.
