Simbi’s Vision Statement “To enable the building of a world where communities thrive through collaboration, mutual support, and the shared growth of talents, fostering a culture of empowerment and meaningful impact for individuals and community projects alike.” Simbi’s mission is to promote volunteership, mutual aid, education and community development! Simbi also facilitates individual development by helping people grow & share their talents with both their neighbors and the world. Simbi.com provides a web-based community platform to help non-profit projects find and reward volunteers, promoting community development, mutual aid among those in need, and the development of individual skills. Our community platform utilizes a non-speculative digital community currency that is not convertible to dollars, similar to Timebanks and other Local Exchange Trading Systems (LETS). Come share your talents with others, volunteer for nonprofits, neighbors, or anyone anywhere within the Simbi community, and be rewarded with credits that you can use with everyone else who's sharing their talents to get some of your own wants or needs met too. Although simbi credits aren't convertible to dollars like most cryptocurrencies, that means that our unenforceable community currency will always safely embody the help, care, teaching, resourcefulness, and general neighborliness that Simbi's community represents and strives for.
