Mit über 45.000 Studierenden ist die FOM eine der größten Hochschulen Europas. Sie ist eine Initiative der Stiftung für internationale Bildung und Wissenschaft mit Sitz in Essen. Die FOM bietet Abiturienten, Berufstätigen und internationalen Studierenden die Möglichkeit, berufsbegleitend oder in Vollzeit zu studieren. Das Angebot umfasst über 60 praxisorientierte Studiengänge aus den Hochschulbereichen Wirtschaft & Management, Wirtschaft & Psychologie, Wirtschaft & Recht, Gesundheit & Soziales, IT Management sowie Ingenieurwesen. Alle Bachelor- und Master-Abschlüsse der FOM sind sowohl staatlich als auch international anerkannt.
