SIM Portland Chapter Information

As the regional chapter of the Society for Information Managers (SIM) representing NW Oregon and SW Washington, SIM Portland is the local community for CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and senior technology leaders. We connect executive, emerging, and strategic technology leaders from Portland, Vancouver, Clackamas, Hillsboro, Beaverton, and the greater metropolitan area. Our community brings together leaders in IT strategy, cybersecurity, AI and data, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, technology operations, product and platform leadership, and technology program and portfolio leadership. Through executive peer networking, leadership development, educational programs, community engagement, and regional events, SIM Portland connects technology leaders across industries and career paths. Our members represent private-sector, public-sector, non-profit, and educational organizations across Oregon and SW Washington. For the past twenty-five years, our chapter has raised and distributed more than $1.1 million in scholarships to local Management Information Systems (MIS) students through our annual golf tournament, thanks to our generous sponsors and partners.
