Silvermoon is a New Zealand owned and operated jewellery business. The company opened its first outlet in 2000. Today there are 10 Silvermoon outlets throughout the country, with our head office situated in Christchurch. We are known for our brands, our quality and our affordability. Due to the huge variety of products that Silvermoon sells we pride ourselves on being able to cater to any budget. Silvermoon aims to be different. Most New Zealand shopping malls have a collection of cheap costume jewellery outlets and a few traditional gold and diamond merchants. The popularity and unique nature of our shops have made us the chosen retailer for almost every leading jewellery brand that arrives in New Zealand. We cannot talk about Silvermoon, our growth and our success without thanking our staff - past and present. We are known in the industry for our low staff turnover, great service and high morale. The company was heavily impacted by the Christchurch earthquakes, but our staff just kept going. The first major earthquake destroyed our old head office and our Colombo Street store. The second deadly earthquake destroyed our New Colombo street location, our Eastgate outlet and closed our Palms outlet for over 8 months. The company not only survived but has come through the quakes in a stronger position thanks to our resilient and dedicated team. In 2017 we were proud to be one of the Naming Rights Sponsors for our local Netball Team in the ANZ Premiership competition - The Silvermoon Tactix.
