The Silver Parrot has been a fixture in Old Town Alexandria, VA for over a quarter of a century. Over the years, our founder has traveled the world in search of unique and exquisite sterling silver jewelry. Starting out as a street vender in Adams-Morgan region of Washington DC, she eventually saved up enough capital to open her own store front. Originally in Rehoboth beach Delaware we are now located in the heart of historic Old Town Alexandria (about 15 minutes south of where she began on the streets of DC). Our jewelry is handcrafted by 30 different designers from a variety of countries including Indonesia, Nepal, Mexico, Turkey, China, India, the Native American Nations, and the United States. We offer designs to satisfy every style and budget. From contemporary and modern to ethnic and ancient, we have the widest selection of sterling silver jewelry in our region.
