Silver Friends Information

Founded in 2022, Silver Friends is registered by the Charity Commission. Registered Charity Number: 1198792. As a newly formed charity, we are currently serving the Woking and Elmbridge boroughs, with the intention of expanding nationwide in due course. At Silver Friends we are committed to serving and making a real positive difference to overcoming isolation and loneliness of our senior citizens by connecting them through social events which helps to make an impact on wellbeing, self-worth and happiness. We make our communities enjoyable places in which to interact, and the events most certainly have a substantial impact by providing a place where our seniors can live well, engage and connect with each other. Our activities are for those older people who would generally live alone, often with limited mobility and most often lonely and socially isolated. We will always arrange suitable transport and events will always be well considered, prior to execution. This is of great importance.
