Gentle Fitness is a holistic program in every sense of the word. It was made to address the physical, psychological and emotional needs of viewers. Making it was an amazing journey. The time, expense and commitment for a project of this kind was more intense than I could have ever imagined! Having been able to complete a program with the integrity and life of this video-turned-DVD has kept me going, long after I thought I couldn't! By 1979, my MS had progressed. I had difficulty staying upright in my wheelchair (I kept sliding out), I was scarely able to hold a phone or talk well because both took so much energy. The next decade passed with me using any means possible to move, even one leg lift would be enough for that day. Then another day would be time to try another.
