Charity for Change was founded in 2008 with a vision to empower Pre-K through 5th-grade children to achieve their full potential through a character education program that integrates community involvement, academics, and parental engagement. Our goal is to cultivate confident and compassionate children who become successful learners, contribute to their communities, and participate in society as ethical, employable, resilient, and self-reliant citizens.

T he UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization that works to provide charitable and educational opportunities designed to improve the social and economic status of diverse communities. Solomon T. Miles, founder of UCF in 1986, is currently President and CEO. The UPLIFT Community Foundation, Inc. is committed to supporting programs that ensure that diverse communities achieve a higher standard of living through education, economic development, and cultural awareness. Our goals as a community foundation are to : Sponsor and implement programs that will motivate and encourage diverse groups of people to become more socially aware and financially responsible for their lives and the future of their communities. Support and sponsor programs that will encourage the formation of public and private partnerships, coalitions, and community networks that aid in combating some of the social and economic problems that are devastating our communities today. Address health issues that affect the well being of communities by sponsoring and hosting educational and research programs. Serve as a facilitator for social and economic change and to foster the importance of improved communications between different races and cultures and their need to co-exist as a matter of survival. Our Mission UCF's mission is to improve the quality of life for people within many diverse, communities by facilitating social and economic opportunities. he Foundation's mission is to also serve as a collector, manager, and distributor of funds for the purpose of supporting programs that assist all people within the community, regardless of their differences such as, but not limited to:educational, ethnic or economic background and/or creed. UCF supports it's mission by stimulating the establishment of endowments to serve the community now and in the future by realizing the intent of donors and carrying out their charitable intentions.
