Silicon Andhra is a non-profit organization with goals to maintain and perpetuate the Telugu Samskruti (Culture), Sahityam (Literature) and Sampradayam (Tradition) among the Telugu speaking people across the world. Telugu language has a rich history of about 2500 years and its culture; traditions and literature have been dated back to early 700 BC. Started in 2007, SiliconAndhra ManaBadi is now a global Telugu language learning platform. Easily the largest non-profit operation dedicated to a language with 1200+ volunteers work 100s of thousands of hours in service to our language. With a mission to take the ancient language of Telugu to make it a global language, we are now in 35+ states in USA and in 10 different countries, with more than 6000 students learning Telugu from some of the most dedicated servants of our language, ManaBadi teachers. The world class Telugu language learning platform can be available in any part of the world where there is interest to enhance the flow of the language to our next generations. A Curriculum based structured Telugu learning program that is aimed for kids across the world.This is the ONLY Telugu Language learning program outside India, that is officially recognized by Sri. Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. University offering credits for students successfully completing all levels. A 7 year program focuses on Reading, Writing and Speaking aspects of Telugu language. By following the methodical curriculum taught by passionate, experienced teachers, kids can enjoy learning the language. Apart from training the kids in their mother tongue, ManaBadi provides a comprehensive practical tools and platforms like ManaBadi Pillala Panduga - a cultural Festival, ManaBadi Baalaanandam - a radio program, ManaBadi Telugu Maatlaata - a set of language games.
