Silere Medical Technology intends to design, manufacture, and market FDA approved electronic neurostimulation devices for the treatment of auditory, balance, and perceptual disorders. Initial efforts are focused on pioneering and commercializing therapeutic applications of electronic neurostimulation technology targeting chronic debilitating tinnitus. The core technology of Silere MedTech is similar to the cochlear implant, and uses patented high rate electronic pulse trains and stimulation patterns that suppress tinnitus when applied. Our team includes Michael Langhout, MBA, President and CEO, who previously founded Audient, providing affordable access to a network of medical providers throughout the US. Our Executive Chair, William Harrison most recently served as Sr. Vice President at Advanced Bionics, where his team created the most advanced neuro stimulation device to date. Jay T. Rubinstein, MD, PhD, is uniquely qualified as CMO, and is a pioneer in the use of electrical stimulation for auditory disorders.
