Founded by designer and photographer Mousumi Shaw, Sikara began with a simple idea: a piece of jewelry can transport you somewhere. Mousumi’s travels and photography often become the starting point for a collection—from the architecture of Barcelona and Jaipur to the landscapes of Iceland and the colors and forms discovered across Italy, Mexico, Brazil, and beyond. These inspirations are translated into contemporary jewelry crafted in sterling silver, 18K gold vermeil, and semi-precious gemstones, combining distinctive design with skilled craftsmanship. For more than 20 years, Sikara has built relationships with customers and retail partners who value jewelry with a story. Our collections have been carried by select resorts, museums, spas, boutiques, and specialty retailers across the country. We also partner with organizations on curated assortments, corporate gifting, special events, and custom programs.
