Founded in Fall 2011, The Special Interest Group for Game Development is a multi-disciplinary team of students that creates a new game each year. Our mission is to develop creative and interesting games while providing our members with the invaluable experience of collaborating on a long-term project in a large, multi-disciplinary team. In addition, we host game jams (game development hackathons) each semester where groups come together either online or in-person to create a video game prototype in 48 hours.
