Sigal Consulting Group (SCG) is a full-service, management consulting company dedicated to helping non-profits and associations increase their organizational capacity through project management, executive-director-level staffing, and fundraising. The SCG founder is Laura Moskow Sigal. Laura has held leadership roles in non-profit organizations for the past 40 years. Laura was the executive director of Mental Health America of Franklin County (MHAFC) for 25 years. She transformed an under-performing operation in 1990 into a financially sound agency, meeting all financial goals year-over-year through 2014, including a surplus of more than $165,000 in 2014. She was able to eliminate the debt by 1991. Funding increased 1,000% through grant writing, fundraising and corporate support. She designed financial protocols and procedures to control costs and monitor organizational budgets. Under her leadership, the agency grew five-fold. Laura led the expansion of programs serving 2,763 people to over 63,000. She oversaw the development and implementation of nine new prevention and client-based programs. She increased program service fees at MHAFC over 850% during her tenure. Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. She is licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Laura has received numerous awards during her 40-year career.
