Bellevue School District serves 19,000+ students in kindergarten to grade 12, operates 28 public schools and employees 2,000+ professionals. Our professional staff consists of school based employees, such as teachers and para educators, and central office and support services staff, such as accounting technicians and technical support. District 49 spans 133 square miles of urban and rural areas in Colorado, covering northeast Colorado Springs and the Falcon area of El Paso County. The district's central office is located at 10850 E. Woodmen Road in Peyton, Colo. As the fastest growing school district in the Pikes Peak region, it's currently serving more than 21,000 students within its portfolio of schools. District 49 prepares students, in a safe and caring environment, to be successful, competent and productive citizens in a global society. The Greenwich Public Schools consist of eleven neighborhood elementary schools (K-5), three middle schools (6-8), and one high school (9-12) with an offsite alternative high school program. Students are assigned to elementary and middle schools based on residential attendance areas. Four of the elementary schools and one middle school also serve as magnet schools, offering programmatic choice for families (Hamilton Avenue School, The International School at Dundee, Julian Curtiss School, New Lebanon School and Western Middle School). A tuition and lottery-based preschool program is also offered for residents and employees of the Town of Greenwich.
