SIDENOR COMPANY OF TUNISIAN STEEL Founded in 1993, SIDENOR is a leading producer of concrete reinforcing bars in bars and coils (also known as rebar) and wire rod in Tunisia. First private rolling mill in Tunisia, SIDENOR now reached a production capacity of 200,000 tons / year. SIDENOR was founded in 1993 to meet the growing demand for steel products used in the building industry and construction and support infrastructure in Tunisia. Located at Bir Mcherga (Zaghouan) 40 km south-east of Tunis, SIDENOR, the first private rolling mill in Tunisia, today reached a production capacity of 200,000 tons / year of rebars and wire rod . SIDENOR is constantly developing for over 20 years technical and operational expertise that positions the key player in the Tunisian market for steel and rolling with the most complete line of long products meeting the requirements of Tunisian and international industry standards .
