SIDEKICK Venture Studio Information

SIDEKICK is a UK-based venture studio and innovation business, creating, building and supporting the next generation of technology companies while helping established organisations turn ambitious ideas into commercial opportunities. Rooted in Gloucestershire, with a growing footprint across the UK, we bring together entrepreneurial experience, technical expertise, commercial capability and access to capital to turn complex challenges into tangible outcomes. Our work is delivered through two complementary business units: SIDEKICK Venture Studio Through venture creation and investment, we focus on developing scalable technology companies addressing challenges across UK national security and resilience. We identify opportunities, validate markets, develop products and build startups through a structured, data-driven approach to venture creation. Working alongside founders, operators and investors, we provide the expertise, resources and hands-on execution needed to take ventures from concept to commercial reality. SIDEKICK Innovation Labs Our Labs take the expertise and capabilities of the Venture Studio accessible to startups, established businesses, industry and institutions helping organisations develop ideas, accelerate businesses, solve complex challenges and build the skills needed to innovate. Our approach is practical, collaborative and outcome-driven. We combine human expertise with AI-enabled capabilities, using evidence and measurable outcomes to guide decisions and demonstrate value. Our ambition is to build an enduring British venture creation and innovation institution that develops successful businesses, advances critical technologies and contributes to the UK's economic growth and national resilience. Gloucestershire is our home. Our ambition is national.
