Established in 1994, Sustainable infrastructure development foundation(SIDeF) is a consultancy and research organisation in the field of sustainable rural infrastructure development with community participation. It has provided its services at present and in past in more than 30 districts of Nepal. SIDeF’s major strength lies in the planning and construction of low cost, environment friendly rural road construction. The organisation has gained extensive experience in working with the local government and the local community through partnership approach resulting in sustainable project output. SIDeF’s goal is to develop technical know-how and professional expertise in the field of sustainable rural infrastructure for the long-term development and to transfer such technology and expertise to the people.
