We drive productivity in SiC manufacturing by improving lifetime, yield and bringing down Cost of Ownership. As a special service, we are able to provide a “one-stop-shop solution”, including packaging and the whole logistics process with part tracking, in order to keep the customer's effort as low as possible. SiC Microtec GmbH is a dynamic enterprise founded in 2022 and active in the semiconductor industry. Our core expertise lies in the refurbishing and precision cleaning of silicon carbide (SiC) spare parts, which are essential components used by microchip manufacturers during epitaxy processes, as critical first steps in forming SiC layers on SiC wafers. We primarily serve global manufacturers of SiC-based microchips as well as OEM suppliers that support the SiC semiconductor supply chain. SiC microchips are predominantly used in electric vehicles (EVs), where silicon carbide as a substrate offers superior electrical and thermal performance, particularly under high-voltage operating conditions.
