The user merely points the camera and search results are immediately laid on top of the image — much like the heads up display in a fighter jet. Pan the camera and the results change as new objects appear in the field of view. Stop and focus on a single object and instant detail results on that item are displayed on top of the camera’s image. The technology, a proprietary Mobile Augmented Reality Search (MARS), couples a number of powerful KaaM technologies with information such as the mobile devices’ coordinates, direction it’s facing, and object of focus to allow content providers, advertisers, merchants, and others to monetize any image, photo or video collected through a mobile device where it’s being captured as the user is capturing it.
