ShuntWizard is an AI-powered monitoring platform for dialysis vascular access (AV fistula/shunt). We analyze shunt sounds to detect early dysfunction and prompt timely clinical review - before emergencies occur. Today, access checks are often subjective (“see / feel / listen”), operator-dependent, and deterioration can progress silently leading towards thrombosis, catheter placement, or hospitalization. ShuntWizard turns sporadic spot checks into objective, longitudinal monitoring (at home via smartphone recordings or in-center via digital stethoscope) built to fit real-world workflows. Why it matters: earlier detection enables more planned interventions and fewer avoidable emergencies, improving patient safety and quality of life while reducing downstream costs for providers and payers. Vascular-access-related hospitalizations alone are estimated at >$1B/year in the U.S. We’re raising to move from validated prototype to regulated product: CE MDR Class IIa + FDA 510(k) readiness, plus expanded clinical pilots in the EU and U.S. Next up: scale clinical validation, translate outcomes into ROI, and turn the strongest buyer + reimbursement pathway into repeatable commercial traction. We already have labeled clinical data and early validation, and we’re scaling it via two funded clinical programs—including longitudinal real-world recordings with ultrasound ground truth. With a patent-pending workflow and acoustic AI engine, we’re building a defensible, regulatory-grade platform for dialysis access monitoring and adjacent sound-based diagnostics.
