Shtandart TT BV to build and develop the Tank Terminal Europoort West (TEW) at Europoort in the Port of Rotterdam. The terminal will be built in the Port of Rotterdam to provide transhipment and storage of Urals crude oil and other oil products from the Russian Baltic Port of Primorsk. The project will be supported by investment of around US$1bn, and the facility will occupy a land area of more than 55 hectares. Oil will be supplied by shuttle tankers specially designed for the Primorsk-Rotterdam route. After the initial permitting and design process, the construction work for the new terminal is expected to begin in 2013, with operational startup targeted at 2015.
