Shortstack Housing Information

Shortstack is a housing developer, and we're turning our practice into a licensable platform. We make remarkably beautiful homes in factories, from a limited suite of designs, for the empty lots inside neighborhoods that already work. Our platform carries plans approved across 3 states, fixed-cost factory delivery, & project sequencing software, so a mission-aligned customer can build homes a middle-income family affords without public subsidy. We proved it on our own sites first: 108 homes built between 2025 and 2026, serving households from 60% to 80% AMI. Twenty-two of those, The Joice A. Taylor Building, was delivered by a third party under license. Our first fully volumetric factory-built houses go up next year. Building across Oregon and Washington.
