LensCulture is one of the largest destinations for curated, contemporary photography from around the world. We are committed to discovering and promoting the best of the global photography community, continually seeking new work from every continent and from diverse points of view: documentary, fine art, photojournalism, street photography, conceptual, portrait, landscape, and more. Our mission is simple: expose the best in contemporary photography to the largest audience possible. We believe talented photographers deserve access to exposure that can lead to valuable, career-building opportunities. Founded in 1885, The Camera Club is one of the oldest and most distinguished photographic clubs in the world, and many notable figures in the history of photography have been members. The Camera Club owns its own London Clubhouse in Kennington. This enables it to offer the outstanding facilities to members, which many might otherwise find almost unavailable or unaffordable. The Camera Club promotes interest in all aspects of photography as an art form accessible to all, and welcomes members who enjoy photography at all experience levels, young and old, amateur and professional.

We are a team of photography passionate people who work for Aperture Academy, LLC. A California company, founded in 2009 by master photographer Stephen W. Oachs, located in the heart of northern California. We are insured, we work closely with the National Park Service to acquire all the necessary permits for access to the best locations, we pay our taxes... and our instructors are CPR and Leave No Trace (LNT) certified, in addition to being amazing photographers! We are all about being dedicated, enthusiastic, professional photography instructors that are devoted to your experience. We passionately teach people who are equally passionate about improving their photography skills, and are eager to take it to the next level. In seeing to the needs of our student's skill levels, we offer the most diverse learning environments possible suited to all ages and physical abilities. Our field workshops can include easy strolls along the beach or park trail, to the more extreme, hiking high mountain trails and crossing rivers, whether in the U.S. or some of the most exotic locations around the world! Each year, the Aperture Academy conducts over 200 on-location photography workshops, Photoshop, Lightroom and printing classes for every skill level. Group sizes average between 8-12, and we always provide two or more instructors to ensure plenty of one-on-one teaching so every student gets the most out of their learning experience. Aperture Academy is a professional organization dedicated to safe, quality, positive experiences for our students, and a responsible stewardship for the breathtaking locations and beautiful wildlife we enjoy at every workshop. Every "ApCad" member is dedicated to ensuring our students receive the best care and guidance possible, so each of them have the opportunity to get the most remarkable, enjoyable and enriching photography experience available anywhere in the world.
