The focus of SHODH's work is on health, education and livelihoods for the vulnerable population. SHODH has been working with farmers and FPOs in the dry and semi-arid region to promote climate-smart agriculture promoting climate-resilient crops. SHODH is working with more than 1000 farmers directly and promoting millet crops. One of the key aspects of Shodh's work is incorporating a research-based approach to work and implementing evidence-based interventions. In addition, SHODH also focuses on research activities including, action research, formative and end-line evaluations and impact assessment studies to document learning and best practices from development initiatives for further replication and adaptation.
