The shipping society at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, is working to increase understanding of the maritime industry among students. The society is a committee of interest, and the members represent many of the fields of study at BI Norwegian School of Business. Throughout the year, the society organizes company presentations, company visits, foreign trips and courses to make the students aware of the opportunities in the maritime industry. In addition, a number of social events are arranged so that the students can become better known and connect a network among the students.
