SHINE Foundation Information

Sahyadri hub for Innovations and Entrepreneurship (SHINE) Foundation is a Startup Support center set up at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management to emphasize Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The organization aims to supports start-ups and industries emerging from the region to drive community-based innovations and practices for the region's growth. SHINE is currently recognised as 1 of the 6 incubator across Karnataka, by KDEM & Govt. of Karnataka to setup an accelerator program. Over the last years, SHINE currently houses 22 companies consisting of 3 MSMEs and 19 startups incubated and 20 more ideas in the pre-incubation stage from the College to create a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus. SHINE has earmarked close to INR 2.3 Cr seed money to promote these ideas and launch them as a product.
