shiftED empowers young people through design and making, building creativity, skills, confidence and future opportunities. We are a place-based charity delivering hands-on design and making projects for children and young people at our makerspace in the Clore Learning Space at Holborn Library in Camden. We run school, tailored and after-school programmes throughout term time. Our work focuses on widening access to high-quality design and making, while building a supportive community of young artists and designers, particularly for those who don’t usually have access to these opportunities. We believe there needs to be a shift towards more design-based learning in education, which we do by partnering with schools and offering an after-school programme at our makerspace. If you’re interested in our model or services, please follow our page and other social media channels, or get in touch with us directly.
