Shield Masonry is a Vancouver based family owned business dedicated to the highest quality of workmanship provided at a budget conscious price. We are an evolving company that has grown to serve all sectors of the masonry market and industry. At Shield Masonry we always strive to advance the quality and innovative use of masonry in the building industry. Shield Masonry was founded in 2002 by Geoff Typliski in Whistler, BC,. Geoff began work as a stone mason directly from high school and became Canada's youngest Red Seal Journeyman Bricklayer in 2000 at the age of 20. Geoff's brother Reed Typliski joined the trade in 2004. They built high-end homes and large hotels in Whistler before moving the company to Vancouver in 2006. Since that time, the brothers' business has grown and diversified substantially.
