Much like a Sherpa mountaineering through the Himalayas, Sherpas, LLC ("Sherpas") was founded in early 2015 with an underlying adventurous spirit and a clearly defined mission: Distribute natural, non-toxic surface-disinfectants and multifunctional surface-coatings to destroy bacteria on surfaces, having a positive impact on Hospital-Acquired Infections ("HAI"). HAIs are an increasing threat, especially to infants, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Sherpas' ability to achieve this goal is dependent upon revolutionary, proprietary technologies. Sherpas is based in the Washington DC Metro Area and is comprised of a group of entrepreneurs who have founded dozens of still thriving businesses over the last 50 years. Sherpas' principals and team include business developers, government lobbyists, inventors, attorneys and financiers. Developing strategic business relationships is a key part of our success, and, although Sherpas is a start-up, its staff has been in the hard-surface disinfectant and coatings industry for several years. Sherpas maintains the exclusive production and distribution rights in the United States from Mr. Barry Sullivan and Mr. Ayao Wada, owners of Wada Water, LLC., for a hypochlorous acid solution ("HOCl"), the most natural and effective disinfectant known to man. The technology used to produce this HOCl was invented and engineered in Japan by Mr. Ayao Wada and his team. Although HOCl was discovered nearly 150 years ago, and is thus widely known, stability and shelf-life have always been an issue. Mr. Ayao Wada believes they have solved this issue. Sherpas intends on filing for EPA registration in the last quarter of 2016. In addition, Sherpas sees a huge opportunity in the multifunctional surface coating industrial and OEM markets. The Company serves as an OEM Sales Partner in these markets for MFS Technologies Ltd., the preeminent manufacturer of multi-functional coatings in North America. Our primary focus is North America and Japan, with a secondary emphasis on other parts of Asia. Undoubtedly, Sherpas will face challenges on our metaphorical trek up and across these daunting mountains, but we are more than equipped and excited to face them. A variety of surface coating applications will be employed, with a focus on environmentally friendly and socially responsible products. The ultimate objective will always be to positively transform surfaces, rendering them more hygienic, durable and functional.
