ShEquity VISION is a gender-inclusive, climate-resilient Africa where women-led and gender-smart businesses spearhead sustainable growth and innovation. ShEquity delivers risk-adjusted returns by backing gender-smart African sustainable SMEs and engineering predictable Article 6 climate revenues that enhance cash flows and exit value. We take an ecosystem approach to investing: combining our Technical Assistance (TA) Facility with our Gender-Lens Fund. The TA Facility, funded by philanthropic partners, de-risks investments and unlocks access to carbon credit knowledge for gender-smart ventures. Through the ShEquity Business Accelerator (SHEBA), a core part of our TA Facility, we have supported 150 women-led businesses across West Africa. SHEBA focuses on supporting qualifying businesses become investment-ready. Our investment strategy provides investors with access to a trusted pipeline of de-risked ventures positioned to generate triple bottom line returns: strong financial performance with measurable positive impact on #People, #Planet, and #Society.
