And in the last three years artificial intelligence, increased market uncertainty and the rising climate crisis have only accelerated that pace of change. Yet despite the urgency, many CEOs struggle to drive innovation. During a decade leading McKinsey's research on design I saw first-hand how hard it is for CEOs to lead disruptive growth organically. Many of them put billions of dollars into developing and marketing new products, that were ultimately seen as only incremental improvements and did not stand out from the competition. Setting bold, ambitious goals for new businesses, brands or products - and then achieving them - is my calling in life. I have worked with senior executives of over 30 of the world’s largest companies: leading innovation, design and development programs on everything from wheelchairs to coffee machines, from banking apps to sports cars, from cruise ship experiences to hospital equipment. The combined impact is billions of dollars in new revenue creation, and over a million users' lives improved. I work closely with CEOs and leaders who want to grow their businesses through better products and services: supporting them to set strategy, innovate the portfolio, and then build the teams, processes and culture needed to design & launch them. I offer two models of service. 1. 1:1 Advisory. Working with CEOs and their top teams to set an ambitious product/innovation/portfolio strategy; finding new areas for growth and conceiving bold new products and services. And then assessing required changes in process, culture, targets and capabilities to bring those products and services to market. 2. Interim Leadership Taking an interim role as a chief innovation officer or head of new business/product to directly conceive and launch new products.
