Sheatre Information

Sheatre is a professional community-engaged arts organization based in Grey Bruce, Ontario. Working primarily in rural and small urban communities, we have 35 years of experience in creating and presenting interactive, issue-oriented and celebratory theatre and the arts. We serve communities by facilitating the expression and exploration of issues and stories that people find vital, complex, and in need of a public awareness, response, and action. Our artists work with the community to identify those issues. Then together we originate interactive dramas, musical productions, multi-disciplinary workshops, projects and events. These convey important messages that inspire discussion and change.
