Shawback Design Information

Shawback Studio is a multidisciplinary creative studio working across interior design, architecture, real estate, and hospitality. Founded in Napa Valley in 1981, our practice has spent more than four decades creating enduring spaces shaped by the people who inhabit them and the places they belong. Led today by Damon and Julie Savoia, Shawback Studio brings clarity and continuity to complex projects, working alongside clients, architects, builders, landscape designers, artists, craftspeople, and consultants from the earliest conversations through completion. Our approach is collaborative, deeply considered, and grounded in the belief that the most meaningful spaces emerge when architecture, interiors, landscape, material, and life are considered as part of the same conversation. From private residences to hospitality environments, we approach each project as a complete whole, creating places that are thoughtfully resolved, distinctly personal, and built to endure. Founded in 1981. Evolving ever since.
