Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. is a Sacramento based legislative advocacy and association management firm. Our firm is conveniently located across the street from the California State Capitol in Sacramento, California at 1415 L Street, Suite 1000. We currently have 7 registered lobbyists and 13 professional staff members assisting our association management and legislative advocacy clients. Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. is a corporation, owned by partners Joshua W. Shaw and Paul J. Yoder. (The firm was previously incorporated as Edward R. Gerber & Associates Inc., then Gerber, Shaw & Yoder Inc.). Shaw and Yoder have owned the firm since 1998. The firm under its original ownership - which Shaw joined in 1990 and Yoder joined in 1993 - was founded in 1975. Andrew K. Antwih was named a partner of the firm in 2009. Two additional partners, Karen Lange and Jason Schmelzer, were added in 2015. In 2001, Joshua W. Shaw and Paul J. Yoder teamed up with Donald Peterson of Peterson Consulting Inc., to jointly purchase Strategic Local Government Services, LLC (SLGS). SLGS specializes in lobbying transportation, infrastructure and local government issues before the California State government. The firm also provides association management and governmental consulting services to a variety of public and private sector clients. Since its inception, the firm has focused on delivering exceptional results to public sector clients, a goal shared by and enhanced under the stewardship of the Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. and Peterson Consulting owners. Following Peterson's passing in 2009, Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. purchased Peterson Consulting. In 2015, clients from both SLGS and Peterson Consulting became Shaw / Yoder / Antwih clients. In January 2008, Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. teamed up with Chuck Cole and Celeste Heritage of Advocation, Inc. to provide services to an extended list of public and private sector clients through a strategic alliance.
