Robokids vision is an Australia where every young person leaves school with the innovative and technical skills they need to create a better world. We provide teachers & students with 21st-century learning with the latest robotics technology to Australian Schools and Education Services. Our programs are designed by teachers which support specific state curriculum requirements. Every workshop is outcome based. For schools who embed our programs over a sequence of lessons we provide a digital assessment rubric aligned to your reporting outcomes. 100% of our teachers are find this tool extremely relevant and useful. We have taught robotics across to over 120 000 Australian teachers and students in schools and children’s services.
70% of our girls surveyed from Kinder/Foundation/ Prep - Year 6 state they would continue to choose robotics if it were an elective in their school.
93% of our teachers would rather Robokids continue to run the robotics and coding programs at their school rather than purchase equipment and increase their digital capacity. Our team are incredibly proud of these statistics. Our surveys have been designed by PwC.
Our team has grown, we have won awards, CBA Women in Focus Leadership Award, nominated for Telstra’s Business Women of the Year and have partnered with Toyota for projects in Melbourne and Sydney schools. Digital Technology Knowledge and Education Centre.
Our centre provides a collaborative learning space for the Agnes Water 1770 Digital Business Group, Coding for Kids, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency collective, and Agnes Water based members of Start-Up Gladstone. We empower our community to explore and implement emerging and converging technologies in a Playhouse environment, not a classroom, allowing the freedom to experiment and fail as essential to the learning and innovation process. The Digital Playhouse exists to exponentially grow both the Monetary and Social Capital in our community through keeping pace with the expected five-year outlook for technology adoption, future jobs and skills.
