Sharon Lindner Information

I have a special interest in gut and bowel health. I enjoy working with food intolerances, helping many to find what they can eat. Hello Im Sharon Lindner, a Newcastle based Medical Herbalist. I would like to share a little of my story with you, My journey to becoming a Herbalist began in my grandparents backyard, with chickens to chase and eggs to collect. From helping in the veggie garden, planting seeds and then eating what was grown. It was here that I learnt to grow my own food and to forage in nearby paddocks and fields for wild mushrooms and berries. I have always appreciated the diverse plant life growing around me, those that gave nourishment freely and others that share their beauty, while facing the elements. Growing up in the sixties and seventies meant being outside from early morning until late afternoon. I grew up with dogs and cats and drank fresh milk from Daisy our goat who lived in our backyard, although I must say I did find her a little scary. In the early nineties I began my studies in Herbal Medicine, my passion for plants and their healing energies grew and flourished, I knew I had found my calling. My interest is in gut health, skin conditions, womens health, adverse affects of certain foods and fertility . Photography is an area I like to dabble in, and I love to take macro shots (close up) of plants in an abstract way.
